Join Jefferson County’s Sustainability Commission tomorrow at the Evergreen Earth Day event!
Jefferson County’s Sustainability Commission members will be hosting a table at the Evergreen Earth Day event on Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Evergreen Lake House, 29612 Upper Bear Creek Rd, Evergreen, CO. They will be sharing tips and resources about how to reduce your carbon footprint and conserve water and energy.
In addition to learning more about rebates and opportunities for your home, and interactive activities for your kids, a limited number of festival participants will receive a free LED bulb. Furthermore, customers of Xcel Energy can sign-up for a discounted visit by the Home Energy Squad® at the event.
For just $75, the Home Energy Squad will come to your home and swap out traditional incandescent light bulbs for LEDs, install a programmable thermostat, weather-strip a drafty door, and install energy-efficient showerheads and aerators and more. Installation, labor, and materials are FREE and valued at $200!
