Western Big Game Hunting Clinic

Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America is offering a clinic on Western Big Game Hunting for beginners and advanced hunters. If you’re a hunter, you’re one of 20 million Americans who loves the outdoors and has a close tie with traditions and help conserve our natural resources. If you’re interested in learning new big game hunting skills, either as a new person to big game hunting or someone who has years of experience this class is for you.
This class will cover elk, deer, bear, and antelope hunting. The following list identifies the general topics that will be covered in the NRA Western Big Game Hunting Clinic:
• Western Hunting Safety and Ethics
• Biology and Behavior of western Big game species
• Western big game gear selection and hunt preparations
• Western big game strategies
• Western big hunting and marksmanship
• Trailing and recovering western big game
• Trophy and meat handling
This will be a hands-on class. There will be lots of interaction with the instructors, and they encourage asking questions and learning from experienced big game hunters. There is a class size of 20; you will get a book and 3.5 hours of lots of information and enjoy talking hunting with the instructors. Men, women, kids are encouraged to come.
