Do you want to see the world from a mountaintop in the Colorado Rockies? If you do, come and join the COFA National ATV event on July 27th to July 29th in Ouray Colorado! We'll ride some of the most incredible trails in southern Colorado. The views are breathtaking at 12,000 feet and will create memories that will last you a lifetime. On Saturday we will explore some old mines, from the outside and learn about the history of Colorado's mining industry. You'll see mines from the 1860's. Then there will be a BBQ lunch on Saturday with your ATV traveling group. Bring your camera, sunscreen, and enjoy the world from the top of the mountains.

For those of you who like to camp, the Uncompahgre National Forest is a great place to pitch your tent, or if you prefer to stay in Ridgway or Ouray at a hotel here are the contact numbers.

If you don't own an ATV, there are ATV rentals in Ouray, you can call Colorado West Jeep Trails at 970-325-4014 or 1-800-648-5337. Call early in May or June. Reserve the ATV for all day Saturday, July 28th

As ATV enthusiasts, we select trails that are safe that will allow new beginners (riders) and experienced to feel safe and enjoy their time in the outdoors. Our goal is to enjoy riding together and making new friends. We have the right to cancel trips due to weather conditions, call George at 303-880-3800 or Mike at 303-880-9878 when weather conditions exist. Your safety is our main concern.

Before signing up to go on any ATV trip, make sure that your ATV, is given a bumper to bumper walkthrough. Is your oil at the proper level? Are your tires in safe riding condition, are the fluids topped off. Do you have the proper weather gear (rain gear, sunscreen, etc.) Did you pack water, snacks, lunch? Are you wearing the proper clothes and shoes, boots are recommended, jeans, sweaters, sweatshirts, gloves? If you have any questions on what to wear or bring, call Mike at 303-880-9878.

The staging area for the meeting will be at the Platte Canyon HS in the parking lot. Please arrive before departure time. We leave on time, if your running behind due to traffic conditions, call Mike at 303-880-9878 or George at 303-880-3800 and let us know. We will let you know where were are meeting at to unload ATV trailers.
