Elevation Celebration: A Summer Street Faire in Conifer July 27th & 28th

Free community street faire in Conifer Colorado celebrating life at Elevation! The event features 22 bands on two main stages, NEW kid's entertainment stage, 70+ craft, food & informational vendors, two themed beer gardens and three kid zones.

Don't miss the fun on Sutton Road Saturday July 27th from 7:30am-9:30pm and Sunday July 28th from 10:00am-6:00pm. The festival begins with the annual Elevation Run/Walk benefiting Conifer Lobos Unified Boosters and Conifer Area Council Trails Team.

Mt. McAthlon

Are you up for a challenge? Try out the first ever Mt McAthlon sports event at Elevation Celebration this year!

On Saturday, July 27th and Sunday, July 28th participate in all nine mountain-themed events for just one or two tickets each (tickets one dollar).

The games include:

• firefighter relay
• water brigade
• 285 obstacle course
• shooting gallery
• archery
• Conifer fishin’ hole
• wood stacking
• hockey
• bungee run
• log rolling

The check-in for the Mt. McAthlon games is located in the XTREMEZONE Tent. Games will run from 11am – 430pm each day. You may purchase tickets there, pick up your gamecard, and begin your quest to be Champion. The overall Champion and two runners up will win cash prizes to be awarded August 3rd at 4:30pm at the Page Turner Bookstore!

The games are open to all ages and skill levels. If you are not up for all nine, then try the ones you rock at and love and you may win a medal for that event!

SO MUCH FUN! There's so much planned you're going to want to block out all of this weekend. We're partnering with Eudaimonia to provide an exhilarating obstacle course and jousting adventure, Evergreen, Bailey & Conifer Macaroni Kid Zone will host our Sesame Street inflatable, face painting, and fun games and crafts, Conifer Community Church XtremeZone will include Archery, Slap Shot Hockey, a Western Shooting Gallery and the Lagoon of Doom, and finally we're pleased to announce the 1st ever Mount McAthlon Games which will feature games to test your mountain skills with cash prizes! We're especially excited about our 285 Boat & Trailer Show Obstacle Course.

Please help us by respecting our neighbors and local businesses this weekend and only park in designated lots. Public parking with a FREE shuttle to the event is available at the West Jefferson Elementary School & West Jefferson Middle School.

It’s a pristine mountain day for our final day of Elevation Celebration and we have baby goats!

Pleasant Park 4-H brought goats, chickens, and a bunny! Come pet them for free, they’re at the corner of Sutton and Dallman.

Mt McAthlon was a huge success! This year's Elevation Celebration had rustic mountain-themed games along with rented inflatable challenges for "kids" from 3-103.

Over 175 unique participants (along with countless others who just played for the fun of it) competed to best their scores in the 7 mountain-living themed events:
Fishin' Hole
Fire Fighter Relay
Log Rolling
Shooting
Archery
Log Stacking
285 Boat and Trailer show obstacle course (on trikes)

Some were more luck based and some, especially the log stacking, depended on your mad skills. We have a wide variety of ages participants who all placed in their individual events, coming to the awards ceremony at Page Turner Bookstore and Coffeebar at 430pm on Saturday August 10th, to find out what they won and who did best overall. Everyone who comes in the top three in an individual event will receive a medal. Plus we have Mt McAthlon overall scoring winners coming to get their cash prize. All winners have been notified by phone. All participants/anyone is welcome to attend the awards ceremony.
