The Indian Hills Fire Protection District Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of Mark Forgy as our new Fire Chief for the Indian Hills Community. Mark has served within Indian Hills Fire Rescue since 2012 and is currently assigned as the Fire and Training Lieutenant for the Department. He has also served as a Firefighter/EMT with Inter-Canyon Fire Rescue and has a wide breadth of experience working fire assignments with the US Forest Service. Mark brings a broad range of leadership and management skills to the position having been employed for nearly two decades as a Senior Investigator of the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Denver.
Chief Forgy will start in his new position on January 21st, 2020.

IHFR members are dedicated to providing a safe, secure environment for the community by minimizing the impact of fires, natural and/or human-caused disasters, hazardous conditions, and personal emergencies. The department is dedicated to the protection of life, property and the environment through a commitment to excellence in emergency response, training, public education, fire prevention, and the efficient utilization of resources.
