March 15: Platte Canyon Chamber Chances Scholarship BBQ & Silent Auction

Please join us for our annual fundraiser. Chances raises money for college scholarships for Platte Canyon area High School Seniors.

The event will include:
- The best BBQ in town! Brisket, Sausages, Baked Beans, & German Cabbage. Donation based per plate (pay what you can).

- Cash Bar serving beverages from Aspen Peak Cellars & Mad Jack's Mountain Brewery.

-All kinds of great silent auction items from our local businesses, and a live auction at 2:30pm.

It will be held at Glen-Isle Resort LLC - Bailey, CO, 573 Old Stage Coach Road, Bailey, Colorado 80421 on Sunday March 15, 2020 from 12:00-3:00PM.

Today is the day!!! Our online auction starts at noon.

Rules for the silent auction:

1) To make a bid for an item, simply enter your bid amount in the comment section for the picture of the item. The opening bid on each item must be at least the minimum bid (posted in the picture's description). Any bids not following this format will be declared invalid and voided. The photos will be posted in the gallery of our Facebook event .

2) Once the auction is declared closed, the highest bid entered on the comment section that adheres to the rule above will be the winning bid.

3) The winner for each item will be contacted, via Facebook message, to arrange payment (cash, check, or card) and to arrange pick up for the item(s).

4) By bidding in this online silent auction, each bidder agrees to these rules. Auction item purchases are final. No returns or exchanges will be issued.

For many students, continuing their education is a huge financial burden but is a necessity for them to pursue their dream. We want to help ease the financial burden by providing scholarships to local high school seniors. Last year we were able to provide $7,000 to 5 local students. This year we are hoping to provide more money to more local students.

You can help us reach this goal by supporting our silent auction. We have over 40 auction items from local businesses that we will be auctioning here on this event page. The money raised through this auction and our business sponsors will go directly to supporting our local graduating seniors.

The best part is that you don't even have leave your house for this auction! You can do all your bidding from the comfort of your own house in your comfy pants. If you want to bid on an item, simply comment on the picture with your bid (we will be posting the album of items promptly at noon on Saturday).
