Jefferson County Board of Commissioners Directs a Closure of County Offices
COVID-19 Update

As the COVID-19, or Coronavirus, becomes more widespread, the Board of County Commissioners has directed the closure of all county offices to the public, effective today, March 16, with the exception of the courts and those services related to law enforcement and limited human services. This is a preliminary action in advance of state direction and that of Jefferson County Public Health.

For more information about courts operations, see the First Judicial District website. If you are scheduled for a court appearance, please plan to appear unless you have been notified otherwise. For the latest information on the COVID-19 virus, community spread, and information for businesses and organizations, see the Jefferson County Public Health COVID-19 web page.
