USFS: Opportunity to Comment - Non-Motorized Trail Enhancement and Improvement

05 May 2020 01:24 #1 by Mountain-News-Events
The South Park Ranger District is seeking grant funding to enhance and improve its current non-motorized system trails. These may include trails such as the Gold Dust and Sheep Creek trails, among others.

Trail improvements may include:
-Heavy trail maintenance such as improving trails in wet areas, surface water control, and tread surface work.
- Improving trail signage and trailheads.
- Updating and improving mapping and trail data.

Our overall goal is making a better system of trails for the public to enjoy in the South Park Ranger District.
