Community Meetings are free, public events that serve to educate and/or advocate toward positive change.

Unit Meetings are where members come together to learn, discuss and act on key issues that impact our local communities. Guests are welcome to attend.

League Book Club Invites You To Read With Us!

The Jeffco LWV Nonfiction book discussion will be held in September on two exceptionally timely readings.

Frederick Douglass: Prophet of Freedom, by David W. Blight

How to Be An Antiracist, by Ibram X. Kendi

Two dates have been set up for discussions via Zoom of the September books:
Wednesday, September 16, at 1 pm
Saturday, September 19, at 9:30 am

In early September, book club members will be invited by email to ‘register’ for the session of their choice by replying to that email.

Participants will then be emailed a link to the appropriate discussion session the day prior to the event.

Zoom sessions have also been set up for the discussion of the October and November book choices.
