VFW Post 8661 Country Breakfast Sunday, 4 Oct (Last Call)

VFW Post 8661 Bailey Colorado will hold a modified breakfast Sunday October 4th from 7:30 to 11:30 AM at the Shawnee Community Center. There will be very limited inside seating, but deck/outdoor seating will be open or you can take breakfast to go. The weather Sunday is projected to be spectacular and our fall colors should be prime.

This will be our last breakfast of the season. We will begin our breakfasts again when either the warm, spring weather returns or the occupancy limit of the building increases, whichever comes first.

You may well know that the Shawnee Community Center is a Park County building and as such, the County has set the maximum occupancy for the building at 35 people due to Covid-19. We have a staff of 10-15 volunteers each month preparing and serving the breakfast, placing a real limit on how many people we can seat inside. We've been blessed with perfect weather for the past several months, but with the onset of late fall and winter, it's unrealistic to expect people to sit on the deck in freezing cold and driving snow.

VFW Post 8661 appreciates the community's amazing support to local veterans. We hope to see you there for "Last Call" this season.
