Kuchels’ haunted trail is an annual Halloween treat for all to enjoy

Gwen and Warren Kuchel are decking their halls — actually more like their trail — with skeletons, werewolves and all things spooky in anticipation of Halloween night.

The couple have had visions of haunted-trail themes dancing in their heads for months, and they have brought the boxes of decorations out to prepare for their favorite night of the year — and everyone is invited. As far as the Kuchels are concerned, the more the merrier.

Their haunted trail is not gory — it’s something a little scary, so it is fitting for little kids, big kids and adventurous adults.

“Halloween isn’t only about trick-or-treating,” Gwen said. “It’s about having fun. Our Halloween activities has grown over the years. It’s taken on a life of its own.”
