Saws & Slaws - OUR COMMUNITY RESPONDED !!

We asked for help to create defensible space through mitigation of Gene Durst property, and you responded. BIG TIME!

Twenty-four volunteers fell, limbed, bucked, dragged and stacked slash on Saturday. Their combined efforts totaled 77 hours.

Gene & Chris put on quite the spread; beverages, BBQ beef & pork, beans, salads, chips and deserts. ensuring we all had plenty to eat,

Our Bailey residents are recognizing the importance of the mitigation work Burland Firewise is performing. Once again, we had volunteers from outside of the Burland and adjacent communities; KZ Ranch, Deer Valley Creek Ranchos, Woodside and Burland Meadows. Their help was greatly appreciated.

The Saws & Slaws flyer for our next event on June 5th is below.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to the Bailey Community and our Volunteers.
