Handgun Safety & Training Course May 8th, 2021 for men and women for CCW Card

Come join COFA for Handgun Safety and Training on May 8, 2021.COFA is excited to announce the COFA Handgun Safety and Training Program. The mission for this program is to educate anyone on safe and accurate shooting as well as provide for attendees to earn the Colorado Concealed Carry permit. (For Colorado residents 21 and older)

Learning to shoot is simple, but not easy. There is a lot to learn but understanding safety and basic marksmanship is the best place to start.Many newer to handguns come into gun ownership with the primary purpose of protecting themselves. COFA welcomes you to the mindset of becoming your own first responder by carrying a handgun and taking charge of your personal safety and the safety of your loved ones.

This program will give you the know how to safely handle and shoot your handgun so you can obtain not only the training but a certificate to attach to your concealed carry application with the state of Colorado.One of COFA’s own, is the instructor with over 35 years of experience. Kevin Bellamy, a retired police chief and certified federal firearms instructor, is coming from the COFA Chapter in Kansas to provide you all with this valuable training.

Sign up now to make sure you have a seat for this class as space is limited and will fill up fast!Be sure to join us on May 8, 2021, from 8am to 12pm at the COFA Green Barn, 8660 South Fairall Road, CO 80465. At noon we will leave for the Harris Park gun range near Baily to get some hands on experience. We will finish up by 3:30pm. If weather does not allow us to go to the range, we will finish by 1:30.The suggested donation of the entire course is $55 (which is a real steal!).

COFA is an All Volunteer organization and is a designated 501(c)3 Non-profit organization. Your tax deductible suggested donation of $55 goes toward training materials/equipment and is greatly appreciated!Please bring a notepad with writing implement.
