COFA Kids Gun Safety Class and BB Gun Shoot May 22nd 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

COFA will be having its Kids gun safety clinic and BB gun shoot on Saturday, May 22nd 7th, at the Green Barn from 9:00 to 12:00 PM. The address is 8660 South Fairall Road, Morrison CO 80465.

In this clinic, kids will learn how to handle firearms in a safe manner, with parental supervision. They will learn: Do not touch a gun, even if it looks like a toy, if they find a gun leave the area where the gun is, tell your parents or an adult right away!

On the firing line your children will learn the basic of gun safety: Treat every gun as if it was loaded, keep your gun in a safe direction, never point your gun at anything you don’t intend to shoot, always keep your finger off the trigger until your ready to shoot.

Gun safety rules parents must teach their children. COFA will help Prepare you and your children of all ages by reviewing these five rules for gun safety:
Rule #1: Guns are not toys, explain to your child that a real gun is not a toy and should never be played with
Rule #2: Guns are dangerous
Rule #3: Never touch a gun without your parent’s permission
Rule #4: If you see a gun, leave the area immediately
Rule #5: Be Careful! You don’t want to shoot your eye out!

COFA will provide the BB guns, so you will not need to bring a gun to class. Class size is limited to 20 students.

COFA is an All Volunteer organization and is a designated 501(c)3 Non-profit organization. Your tax deductible suggested donation of $5 goes toward training materials/equipment and is greatly appreciated!
