FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CORE Electric Cooperative to hold Public Open House for Harris Park Rebuild Project

SEDALIA, Colorado (Sept 10, 2021) – CORE Electric Cooperative (CORE), formerly the Intermountain Rural Electric Association (IREA), will hold a public open house on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Harris Park Community Center: 2154 Shelton Drive, Bailey, CO, 80421.

The open house will highlight the Harris Park Rebuild. CORE is rebuilding existing distribution lines and replacing equipment and poles to improve the reliability of aging infrastructure and bring this portion of the service territory up to current design standards and code requirements. As part of this effort, contractors for CORE will be conducting data gathering, facility inventorying, utility locating, and construction staking that may require access on private property.

Community members are welcome to arrive at the public open house anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Project team members will be stationed at exhibit boards to provide an overview of the project and to answer any questions. There will not be a formal presentation.
