Pine, Colorado - John Edward Childers, age 68, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at his home in Pine, Colorado surrounded by family who loved him very much.
A lifelong Master Mechanic, John moved to Pine, Colorado from Texas in 2016 with family to enjoy his retirement in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. He loved the hummingbirds, the deer, the elk, the amazing seasons and scenery… and he adored hopping around the mountain community in his Jeep. He loved basketball, football - and was very proud of his fantasy football team he co-managed, The Stings.
John was a lover of animals and had rescued many from streets and shelters over the years. He leaves behind his beloved cat and daily guardian, Ouija. She brought him so much joy.
