Happy Halloween!
Bring your kids to the Boys & Girls Club of the High Rockies Pumpkin Patch today between 11-3PM. Donations to the Club would be most appreciated. First 20 families browsing the patch will receive a health & beauty goodie bag provided by Marcel and Julie.

Virtual MRHI Moonwalk for 2021
Due to continued concerns regarding the virus, to keep everyone safe due to the volume of people who have attended this event in person, MRHI has elected to have the 2021 Moonwalk be shown virtually!

The virtual Moonwalk was filmed by Mt. Bailey Productions and sponsored by South Park National Heritage Area in 2020. The result? An awesome film that brings the cultural history of the late 1800's in Alma to life.

Watch for the film link coming soon as well as an opportunity to download your own walking tour for a donation.
Film:

You will then be able to head to the Alma Cemetery (if you dare) for your own special tour with a donation to conservation in the Mosquito Range.

Thank you to Como Civic Association for sharing this one!

Colorado Ghost Towns Part 1 - Alma, Buckskin Joe, Como, Boreas

I had the opportunity to explore some small towns (and ghost towns) in the Colorado mountains with our jumps coach Heidi Benton! Alma has come back strong from an almost abandoned past. Buckskin Joe is one of the creepiest places I've ever been. Como has a lot of history with the railroad, as does Boreas, which is one of the prettiest places you could find!
