Happily passing along this message from Whitney to us:

The communities of Evergreen, Conifer, The City of Westminster, and Walnut Creek Golf Preserve invite the families affected by the Marshall Fires to our January Holidays Event Saturday, January 22nd from 10 am - 1 pm at Walnut Creek Golf Preserve 10555 Westmoor Dr, Westminster, CO 80021!

The communities, as well as Santa and Mrs. Claus are excited to host families for fun ornament crafts (Christmas Themed Jewish Themed, and themes for any beliefs), yarn Christmas tree crafts, hot cocoa bar with Candy Cane Sticks, marshmallows, and all the fixings, holiday themed cupcakes by Monika's Cookies, Holiday Themed cake bites from On The Go: Baked Goods, and of course our wonderful Christmas gifts donated by many throughout the communities of Evergreen and Conifer, as well as many throughout the country! We will have gifts with a special letter from Santa and the communities, for all ages including gift cards for teens and parents!

SANTA as well I believe MRS. CLAUS will be there to take photos and help with gifts!

We hope that we have a wonderful turnout and can put the magic of the holidays and life in general, back in the hearts of kids and adults alike after the horrible events that transpired less than one week after Christmas.

We are still in need of gift cards for adults and teens. If you wish to donate, all cards can be sent or dropped off before 9 am January 22nd at Walnut Creek Golf Preserve 10555 Westmoor Dr, Westminster, CO 80021.

Donations to purchase gift cards are also being taken via venmo to Whitney-pickering
Last four of phone number is 1197 for verification.

THANK YOU EVERYBODY FOR HELPING TO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE AND SPREAD THE MAGIC OF LOVE AND CARING!

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE THIS POST SO THAT WE CAN CONNECT WITH AS MANY OF THESE FAMILIES AS POSSIBLE!!!
