To help prevent and respond to the threat of wildfires, Elk Creek and Inter-Canyon fire protection districts have established a community ambassador program. Two of these ambassadors, Miranda Tucker and John Sebastian, will host an in-person event for their neighborhoods from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday May 10th at Elk Creek Fire Protection District Station 1, 11993 Blackfoot Rd, Conifer, CO 80433. Food will be provided by Snowpack Taproom & Pizzeria and Miranda L Tucker, LCSW.
John and Miranda are ambassadors for the neighborhoods of Kings Valley, Green Valley, Richmond Hill & Broken Arrow Acres. Their program will include a general overview of programs and services related to wildfire mitigation offered by the two fire departments.
