YEA!!! We are getting some moisture, temporarily reducing wildfire concerns.
BOO!!! We are having to postpone our scheduled Saws & Slaws event. But that’s ok. Our projects have enough tripping hazards without it being slick from rain and snow.
Juanita Kursevich initial Saws & Slaws event was held on April 23rd. Eighteen volunteers fell, limbed, bucked, dragged and stacked slash and fire wood from 27 trees. Their combined effort on that Saturday totaled 99 hours.
We will need your help to finish dragging and stacking slash for chipping, and gathering and stacking the firewood. Be watching for the announcement rescheduling Juanita’s project.
Our Mission:
To significantly reduce the inevitable impacts to our homes, businesses, schools, infrastructure, view sheds, and watersheds due to a major wildfire event.
