Park County, Co – Park County Coroner David Kintz, Jr. will host a press conference on Monday, June 13 at 10:00 AM to announce the identification of an individual whose remains were discovered in June 2020 by a group of teenagers that were hiking in the Lost Creek Wilderness Area.

The press conference will take place in the Park County Board of County Commissioner’s Meeting Room located at 856 Costello Avenue, Fairplay, CO 80440 and on Facebook Live.

Coroner Kintz, Jr. will be joined by United Data Connect, Inc., who provided the investigative genetic genealogy services that led to the successful identification. Until now, attempts to identify the remains through traditional methods were unsuccessful.
