COFA- Christian Outdoor Fellowship of America “Fall Retreat/fishcamp” in Bemidji, MN, September 15th through the 20th.
This is a great event not only for the fishing, but if you need to take a break from your busy life and spend some time relaxing, you might consider this retreat and enjoy God’s great outdoors. Some of the most scenic biking and hiking trails in the US are located near Lake Bemidji. It's a beautiful fall getaway; the fall colors are starting to show, the geese are flying overhead, wild turkey and deer roam the woods where we stay, while the smell of an oak campfire waffles in the evening air. You have the headwaters of the Mississippi River starting in Itasca State Park, a natural history museum, and old town Bemidji with many quaint shops.
If you like to fish for walleye, northern pike, and muskies. Bemidji is known for its amazing fishing worldwide. COFA hosts this yearly event for men and women who enjoy fishing and getting on the lakes. This event will not disappoint any serious fisherperson. The lakes abound in large fish and will give you quality time on the lakes you fish.
If you need alone time, this is a great getaway for individuals and couples who need to reconnect. You can hike some beautiful trails, and enjoy the fall colors and smells of autumn in the air. You will not have to worry about cooking; your meals and rustic cabins are included in your camp fee.
There will be a short devotional following the evening meals; after that, many love to go for an evening walk, play board games, or sit around and talk with new friends.
The cost is $400 per person, a great deal considering this would easily be over $1,200 per person at other venues. If you have any questions about the fall retreat/fishcamp, call Mike at 303.880.9878 or Leslie at 303.909.3707
