This year's theme is 'Heroes on Parade' and we'll be celebrating heroes of all types. Superheroes, public servants, parents, teachers or anyone that has inspired you to do great things!

For nearly 40 years, the Conifer Christmas Parade has been the event that brings our community together to celebrate the holidays, togetherness and the strong bonds that make our community so amazing.

Join us on Saturday, December 3rd for the 39th Annual Conifer Christmas Parade sponsored by Lifetime Windows featuring Heroes on Parade. Don’t miss holiday trolleys, warm spirits, live entertainment, Christmas shopping, Santa Land and of course the very best small-town Christmas Parade! The event this year kicks off at 10:30 am on Sutton Road in Aspen Park. Public parking is available at West Jefferson Elementary, Aspen Park RTD Lot and Conifer Community Church. The celebration boasts amenities including a Corn Maze, Monster Truck, Gaming Trailer and visits from your favorite Super Heroes. Parade veterans won’t be disappointed with signature classics including the Holiday Trolley sponsored by FirstBank and warm spirits at the Christmas Spirits Tents sponsored by 1st Colorado Roofing and June McKenzie.

Make sure to come prepared to shop at the Christmas Market featuring over thirty local crafters and vendors. Delicious food and drinks will be available to tempt the palette of parade goers and offer a wide selection of festive treats from Slife's Devil Dogs, Pink Tank Food Truck featuring chicken and waffles and Dawg Haus. Elk Creek Fire Protection District will also be onsite all day to offer their annual Santa Land boasting warm fires, pictures with Santa, as well as yummy treats and fun games. Santa visits 10:30 am - 1:30 pm. There will be warm spirits and a fantastic musical line-up featuring CHS Tri-M Music Honors Society, Who's Thomas, May be Fern, Jax Jordening and Mars Caliche.

The parade starts off at 2:00 pm and features floats, marching bands, fire trucks, animals and our Grand Marshals, Chief Ware of Elk Creek Fire Protection District and Chief Shirlaw of Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District. The parade will end at Davis Drive just short of King Soopers with post parade parking along the South side of Sutton Road. Parade Awards will occur immediately following the parade. This year's Best of Parade will win $500 for their organization so make sure to stay and find out who will take home the trophy!

We're looking at beautiful weather for our parade today and hope to enjoy the day with all of you celebrating our heroes! The event opens at 10:30am, the parade kicks off at 2pm on Sutton Rd. There will be local street closures as the parade rolls out from West Jeff Middle School at 1:45pm. Parking and shuttles are available as indicated on the map above. See you soon!

The Christmas in Conifer was a huge success! Congratulations to Peak Academy of Dance, who won the $500 prize and the 1st place ribbon, and to Conifer Newcomers & Neighbors, who won the 2nd place $200 prize, and the 2nd place ribbon. I've included the winners in all the other categories below. I will get you your ribbon awards this week. We are so appreciative of all your hard work. It was all so impressive, and you are all HEROES to the Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce.

I wanted to thank everyone for all your hard work on the parade yesterday. We had over 39 vendors, 35 sponsors, 34 parade participants, and 68 volunteers to make it happen. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! IT TAKES ALL OF US to make this event happen, and so grateful for the community of Conifer and the surrounding area that showed up to kick off the Holiday Season!

I want to send a BIG shout-out to all those who have worked endless hours, especially Melissa Baker, owner of Foothills Architects, and Events Chairperson, for all the leadership; it would not all come together without her. The Board, Staff, and I appreciate your hard work and dedication to the Chamber.
