Reminder: COFA’s Basic Pistol Class (CCW) – Sat, Feb 11, 2023, 11 AM-3 PM

COFA is hosting a Basic Pistol class (CCW) for anyone 21 and older on Saturday, February 11, from 11:00am - 3:00pm at the COFA Green Barn, Conifer Training Facility. There is also a follow-up class, same day, 3:30pm to 5:00pm for practice, position, and stance using COFA's Smith & Wesson M&P 40 .177 Caliber Air Pistol handguns to practice with.

While our course places an emphasis on gun safety, we will provide a legal summary regarding carry laws, pistol terminology and function, methods of carry, shooting basics and range etiquette.

This is not a live fire course therefore no firearm is required. This is a basic pistol course that meets the standards Colorado law has put in place and satisfies the educational qualifications in which to obtain a concealed carry permit in the state of Colorado.

Please feel free to take notes or photograph slides in the presentation. No live ammunition is permitted in the classroom.

COFA's instructor, Rich Manzer, is a NRA Basic Pistol Instructor and Range Safety Officer.
