Indian Hills Mission: Firewise (a collaboration between IHFR and IHIA volunteers) is offering curbside chipping of slash piles to promote and enable fire mitigation in our community. All slash will be chipped by professional and fully insured contractors, with chips left on-site to biodegrade.

WHO: First 25 registrants. Indian Hills residents -- owners and renters.
WHERE: Your home, curbside, as close to the driveway as possible, and on your property.
COST:
SEPTEMBER CHIPPING IS $50/per home for 2 cords of slash, $60/cord for each additional cord.
SLASH SIZE: Maximum 4'x4'x8' each pile. Maximum diameter of logs accepted is 6 inches.
EVENT DAYS: Chipping will happen over September 11th. Registration closes on August 31, 2023.
After registration has closed, all participants will receive a notification regarding chipping requirements, assigned chipping days, and secure payment requests. PLEASE BE SURE TO ADHERE TO THESE GUIDELINES. Guidelines are also available at

All chipping services must be paid in advance. Invoicing will be the first week of September with final payments due by September 7th. There are no refunds. If you sign up for chipping and don't get your yard work done in time, your payment will go into the fund that subsidizes this service for the town.
