The Genesee Fire Protection District Board of Directors election will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The election is being conducted as a mail ballot election. At this election, the electors of the District shall vote for Directors to serve the following terms of office on the Board of Directors of the District:

Each of these sessions will provide a valuable opportunity for our community to engage with and have questions answered by the Fire Chief relating to GFPD's upcoming ballot issues, including the Emergency Access Route. The April 30 session will also include an opportunity to meet the candidates for the upcoming GFPD Board of Director election.
These sessions are designed to foster open dialogue and ensure our community is informed and empowered. We encourage you to bring your questions and participate in these important conversations.

The election is being conducted as a mail ballot election. The ballots will be mailed to the eligible electors of the District no earlier than 22 days prior to the election (April 14, 2025) and no later than 15 days prior to the election (April 21, 2025). The drop off locations for the delivery of mail ballots and receipt of replacement ballots shall be located as follows:
23455 Currant Drive, Golden, CO 80401 (open Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
