Emily's Parade - We need cookies!

I gave up the hard volunteer job for something cushy this year.

I would be glad to

accept, acquire, admit, apprehend, appropriate, arrogate, assume, be given, be in receipt of, be informed, be told, catch, collect, come by, come into, cop, corral, derive, draw, earn, gain, gather, get, get from, get hands on, get hold of, grab, hear, hold, inherit, latch on to, make, obtain, perceive, pick up, pocket, procure, pull, pull down, reap, redeem, secure, seize, snag, take, take in, take possession, win

any cookies that you would like to donate to the ride this year. The riders really do appreciate home baked goodies. (I know, I kept the food trays full last year). We do get cookies donated, but it is never enough.

If you are so inclined as to want to bake and donate cookies this year (you can donate store-bought also), please drop them off at Platte Canyon High School between 4-6pm on September 25th. (This is a Saturday and is the day before the Parade date). If you can't drop them off then, please contact me here by PM and I will make sure we get your cookies.

The drop off for cookies is up @ the field by the Pool end of the Admin bldg.
(The bldg end closest to the field.)

And if you can't drop the cookies off on Saturday between 4 and 6pm, they can be dropped off on Friday
(until 6pm) and/or earlier on Sat. at the Shawnee Tea Room and Barb will bring them to the school.

I will have a couple dozen for you, how many do you need?

Thanks Hoot Owl. We need as many as we can get. The riders love cookies. I have heard many direct comments over the past couple years from them. They always go for the homebaked stuff first!
