Steve Harelson, resident engineer for the Colorado Department of Transportation, laid out plans for several U.S. 285 projects – including Shaffers Crossing near Pine Junction, a paving project from Bailey to Conifer, Turkey Creek Canyon, and the future interchange at Pine Junction – in a presentation at the Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce meeting on Sept. 10.
