Jefferson County sheriff's deputies executed an arrest warrant on Dec. 2 for Sheldon Lee Herrington, 38, who is a suspect in the 2005 murder of former Conifer resident Patrick Housand. Details in this week's Flume.
This is great news. I often wondered about the status of the cold case. This is the case of a 70 year old man getting murdered at early early (3 or 4 a.m.) in Aspen Park during the winter of 2005. I still maintain it was someone who knew him.
Thanks AV Good Twin....I would have understood a man getting beat and kill in middle of summer - but not in the dead of winter at 3 - 4 a.m. - I just couldn't imagine a burglary roaming the mountains in the winter with snow on the ground. Glad they caught the scumbag.
