Gusting winds of up to 152 miles per hour and drifts forced the closure of U.S. 285 in both directions on Jan. 20. Details in Friday's Flume.

152mph as measured where? I haven't been home to read the Flume.

While this is possible if the jet stream dipped in the right place or there was a tornado near by, I believe someone's anemometer or software is broken.
