After a Flume story ran last Oct. 22 about new Bailey resident Brian Backus receiving threatening hate mail that called him a Nazi, the letters stopped – but the phone calls began.
Pine resident Gerald Maschka was arrested on Jan. 27 by the Glendale police in connection with threatening voice mail messages left at Backus' place of employment in Glendale. Details in this week's Flume.
