At a town hall meeting hosted by the Conifer Area Council, attendees heard that the Shaffers Crossing highway work on U.S. 285 will be completed by June 2011, that the new owners of the Yellow Barn at Bradford Junction are keen on preserving the site, that a veterans celebration is planned for May 22 at the Conifer Community Park at Beaver Ranch, and other matters.
