The Colorado Division of Wildlife Commission voted 8-1 on March 10 to approve a surface use agreement in South Park that would allow for natural gas wells to be drilled by El Paso Corp. at four sites in the James Mark Jones Wildlife Area. The agreement follows a previous agreement with El Paso for three wells in the same wildlife area. Details in this week's Flume.
