At their meeting on March 10, the Park County commissioners agreed to an independent appraisal of 228 acres owned by the State Land Board on Crow Hill with the idea that the county might eventually buy the land and use it for parks and recreation and other purposes. The idea is that the eventual purchase money would come from the Park County Land and Water Trust Fund, which gets its revenue from a 1 percent sales tax in Park County. Details in this week's Flume.
