Jury selection complete in Spykstra trial - The Flume

Jury selection wrapped up Monday afternoon for the trial that will determine the fate of the Bailey woman accused of carrying out a two-year sexual relationship with an underage female.

Opening statements from attorneys are expected Tuesday morning in district court in Fairplay.

Malinda Spykstra was charged in 2009 with one count of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust - pattern, a class 3 felony, and one count of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust in which the child is 15 to 18 years old, a class 4 felony.

BACK OFF XP, What that woman did was BY NO MEANS acceptable.. If it was my kid she did it to THERE WOULD BE HELL TO PAY!! However, what the PCSO Deputies isn't correct either and a DEMOTION and a chance to further their careers is a slap in the face to all involved and an EMBARASSMENT to any DECENT Police Agency.. They, including Fred and Monte should RESIGN. Remember if it's over looked NOW it will be OVER LOOKED in the future....
