My wife asked me what a goverment shutdown would mean to us. I told her less traffic FTW.
Federal workers don't go in as early as we do, but they do leave to go home about the same time we do so my ride home should be quicker.
Feds 24/7, work 24 hours a week and 7 days a month.

Not totally. A woman I know works as a buyer for the federal goverment. She was informed this week that she is supposed to keep on buying while the goverment is shut down.
When 25% of the GDP is goverment based, those checks need to keep going out.

Wow, the goverment provides air and water now? I know they are overreaching at times but I didn't think they have anything to do with my spring water.
So what happens in failed states like Mexico and Somalia? The Mexicans flee across the US border just to breathe air.
