Marie Antoinette was right. I was at Safeway the other day and bought some kind of cake/pastry thing for $2bucks and change. A loaf of rye bread was $4bucks and change :VeryScared: .
It is true I could have gotten a cheaper loaf of bread but when shopping I follow orders. When my list says rye bread, that is what goes into the cart. If the list said left handed cashews then that's what I would look for.

neptune, that is a perfect example of one of the major problems causing the obesity epidemic - it's much cheaper to feed a family with crappy food, full of high fructose corn syrup, trans-fats, MSG, additives, and preservatives, than with healthy, whole-grain, fresh foods (or take the time to cook a good meal). Check out the labels on soups (wow, the sodium content, and it's nearly impossible to find ones without MSG), microwave frozen dinner, box meals, frozen add-a-meal bags, etc. - it's no wonder heart disease, cancer, and auto-immune disease rates have been rising over the last several decades.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
