Doesn't the time frame prove my point?

The whole idea of "Czars" has been flawed since it was first used by Roosevelt. The fact that Obama has had more than any other President in less than four years speaks to his lack of leadership skills. He is trying to surround himself with people who know what they are doing because he doesn't. It's unfortunate - he talked a good game.

I read that good managers surround themselves with people who are smarter than they are.

I've heard that too, but never believed it. If you're a manager, you'd better be pretty good at every aspect of what you manage. Anyhow, these Czars are outside of congressional balances. There are no confirmation hearings. It is nothing short of a power grab by the executive branch. Bush was the second worst offender.

The trend is for each president to increasingly mould the country to his world view. The powers of the president are becoming more dictatorial as time passes in order to achieve their agenda. Hence, Obama is worse that Bush and the next president will be worse than Obama. IMO

I doubt anyone will have the will to dismantle the imperial powers we've granted our recent presidents. I'm sure they all believe they will use that power for good but......


The only people with the power to make the change are the voters and we let ourselves get distracted by trivialities like birth certificates and 9 11 conspiracies. As long as we let our politics be defined by the whacked out wing nuts we're doomed.

Probably none of them but weren't they all in bed with big corporations that want to destroy the world and wipe out the human race?

It sure is interesting that most everyone discounts the main message within the post and soley focuses on the least important aspect within it.
