Can I then presume that you won't opine even so much as to state your agreement with all the article stated?

Read the article....Lots of straw men there. I guess he is saying Christie is dangerous because he actually understands that we can't spend more than we take in, and we must reign in unfunded mandates? Yeah, that is dangerous to the left, who believes borrowing more and more and more and giving more and more and more to the unions without any accountability at all is a good thing.

If Christie ran, he would win by a landslide. I don't believe he will run this time though...question is, can we survive until we get an actual president willing to make the hard decisions which MUST be made.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

Considering that a balanced budget only occurred one time in the history of this country, I have no hopes for ANY president doing it again.

I heard a woman on Limpbaugh yesterday asking why don't these candidates like Christie step up to the plate, knowing the country is in trouble. She mentioned Winston Churchill as an example of someone who stepped up when his country needed him. She was upset Christie and other candidates who say they aren't running won't run this time but may at a later date, when they decide to - seemingly putting themselves before their country. She had a good point.

Either that or Christie believes you should be properly prepared and experienced to be president. Something our current president severely lacks, and this lack of experience is showing in the very poor performance as the POTUS. Obama felt he was destined to be the "One we have been waiting for", so he jumped the gun with virtually no experience, and no executive experience.

I would like to have him run, don't get me wrong, but we have massive problems, and if someone feels they need to get more experience before tacking them, they should do so.

My guess is, had either Obama or McCain known what was about to happen to the economy they would never have announced. I don't think any candidate could have saved the nation from the economic troubles it is going through.

I do. I just think there were no politicians available in 2008 who were willing to act like adults, and treat the American people like adults, and make the hard decisions that must be made. Had they been made back in 2008, we would have had a VERY tough last 3 yrs (going on 4), but we would be coming out of it now. Because the current admin (and yes, McCain wouldn't have made the tough decisions either) decided to borrow more and more to kick the can down the road, we are no closer to recovery than we were 3 yrs ago, and now we are substantially more in debt.
