I personally see no reason for you to hold anything back, and/or wait till our next scheduled Tea Party meeting. There are those on here that will definitely argue any point you make, but consider the source.

Your further participation in discussions or arguments here are more than welcome.

Appears from just putting the idea up the flagpole has lent some credibility. That's a good thing :)

My concerns about the proposed amendment focus on the federal revenue stream. I'm not so confident in the flat tax scenario. Those taxpayers with less, are less able. Even with a rate cap, no exceptions, or exemptions, I fear Congress, with the kind assistance of corporate lobbies will find a way to re-tangle the web.

response might be limited for at least a day - jury duty. Cie la democracy. :)
cheers,

Joseph Stiglitz: Time to Rethink Fixation on GDP?

GDP is not a good measure of economic performance.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
