So you are against free speech in this case that you don't agree with, but for it in another that you do.
Quote by 338 from another thread:
Dearborn, Michigan has become a Sharia enclave, much like those populating many European countries. The city of Dearborn, Michigan denied a permit Wednesday for Qur’an-burning Pastor Terry Jones’ planned protest outside the Islamic Center of America on Good Friday.
Islamic supremacists were handed a victory for their violent intimidation and threats. City spokeswoman Mary Laundroche said that Jones’ permit had been denied for “public safety reasons.” In other words, they’re afraid Muslims will riot. And so the rights of free Americans have to be curtailed.
Terry Jones burned a Qur’an. So what? What happened to the freedom of assembly, the freedom of speech, and the freedom of expression? Terry Jones is prohibited from rallying in Michigan for fear of Islamic violence. Is that how far down the Sharia rabbit hole we have gone? Why is it that any time American law comes into conflict with Islamic law, it is American law that has to give way?

So, its ok..let me get this right, to have a liberal college proff tell his students to use physical violence at protests...I am against violence, or advocating violence, unlike you! If a tea party member advocates the violence towards a communist professor, you would be all over that, wouldn't you, you would be up in arms. I oppose the burning of the Koran and the bible, how about you? Would burning the bible be ok with you? Would it be ok to burn the hammer and sickle above your bed? Just wondering..
No, it wouldn't be OK for you to burn anything above my bed. Are you threatening me?
There's a high fire danger for one thing and for another, you'd be trespassing so you probably wouldn't make it as far as our bedroom.
Burning a Bible or a Koran? I have no opinion on it.
Speech that incites imminent lawless action is not protected by the First Amendment. So yes, if someone were doing that, I would be "all over it" as you say. In the meantime, I support the First Amendment, even when I don't agree with what's being said. Unlike you, I don't pick and chose when to support the First Amendment.
figure it out soul, maybe your comrades can help you! Lets see you libs want violence taught in college classes, and you whine about the burning of the koran, which is it soul?
It would help the discussions more forward if you wouldn't constantly resort to strawman arguments. Please tell us who here has posted that they want violence taught in college classes, as you stated.
