Close...JSOC headed the operation... JSOC is based at Fort Bragg and is a team made up of Marines, Army, Navy, and Airforce...

10 years....I had hoped we would see this day, but as the years went by it seemed less and less likely.

CNN: President gave the operation the go ahead to move forward on Friday morning, as the Royal Wedding was taking place. bin Laden killed today in helicopter raid conducted by Navy SEALS.

The action follows five secret national security council meetings leading up to this, starting on March 14, according to CNN.
