They buried him at sea within 24 hours of his death, in accordance with Islamic law, is what I heard.

The US didn't want his burial place to become a shrine.

They took photos, tissue, blood and hair samples before burying him.

Not really.
It sounds like this started last summer with the tracking of a bin Laden courier. They've been closing the net since then.

Obama got the intelligence and acted on it.... Bin Laden is dead

Bush got the intelligence and didn't.... The WTC went down.

I gotta agree with VL on this one. Bin Laden sealed his own fate and justice has been served. The dancing in the streets on either side is not my cup of tea and all it does is create more bad blood. Let the deed be done and move on. I'd rather see people focusing more on trying to mend fences than instigate crap. JMO
