CB, I haven't seen anywhere, maybe you can point me to it, where any liberals are giving him full credit? All I've seen is credit for all involved... Just sayin'...

I doubt anyone is foolish enough to have given a direct quote to that effect. I think it is the interpretation of some on the right of some on the left saying that this guarantees his reelection.

Where did I say Obama defunded our militray intelligence? He has FOUGHT to cut all of our militray spending.

Do you have a source for this claim? I have seen nothing that indicates that defense spending has been, or is planned, to be reduced. On the contrary, all it's done is increase...

Serious?

Yet again a total lie.

What is a lie? That this administration fought to cut militray spending? You really need to keep up with your current events.

Neptune just proved it above.

All Neptune proved was the ability to do a google search. If you had actually read the articles, they all discuss how President Obama INCREASED military spending by 2 %.

I realize that the right wingers don't like to actually use facts in their rants, but it really does affect their credibility.

Where have you been the last 20 years. A decrease in the base line is a cut, ask any democrat.

Only a republican would believe that a two percent increase is a cut.

I would take that statement and feed it to you in ten courses on silver platters if it was worth my time.

However, I did want to preserve it in case we ever have a conversation on the national debt.

Obviously, many of you feel an urgent need to make sure credit is given to whomever. Does it truly matter? What if one were to give all the credit to Bush? What is that going to accomplish? Will it prepare Bush for a new political run? NOT. Will it help the country recover from its economic woes? NOT. Will it change anything? NOT, unless you can enlighten me. And, having said that, what will it accomplish to give Obama all the credit? A big start to his political campaign comes foremost to mind. But what will all this verbiage truly accomplish? Will it solve any of the major issues this country faces? I'm not interested in who is to gain credit, but I am very interested in hearing what you think Obama needs to do to get this country back on its feet. What should we look for from the current administration?

The only thing you can expect from this current administration is WAG THE DOG. That's it! Why does credit need to be given? Not sure, ask why the libtards believe it assures Obama a second term? The libtards for five years were cruel, mean, and degrading to President Bush...it was considered patriotic by the libtards.

I can see there is considerable animosity between the political camps. But that is what happens when emotions rule the day. I see many strong, (and regardless of how you guys label one another) highly intelligent, and insightful characters. Every now and then between the BS, you share significant insights. Of course Obama will try to get another term, but I think the lack of transparency promised, and absence of a foreign policy, together with an economic domestic crisis will be his undoing. This country needs help and it will be most interesting who if anyone competent will emerge from the political crowd. We need a true leader, not a clown or reality star. So what are your thoughts?
