A lawsuit concerning roads between the Elk Falls Property Owners Association and nearby landowners Vera and Drayton Dunwody, owner of the Lower Lake Ranch near Pine Junction, continues more than one year after being filed. Details in this week's Flume.

Yes, the Elk Falls HOA is VERY busy spending money on law suits that could be better spent on maintaining the ranch roads and such. A small group of folks decided that they HAD to pick a fight with the Dunwodys and many are now suffering the consequences of that stupidity. The whole thing could have been avoided by cooler heads and adult discussion. Instead there was a burning need to lawyer up. If you are living in Elk Falls Ranch then all you can do is shut up and pay more and more homeowner dues while the roads go to hell in a hand basket. Meanwhile many folks struggle to make ends meet. A perfect example of an HOA going insane. It's very unfortunate and very wasteful. I'll be glad when the lawyers and courts are done...and so will my budget. :faint:
