We went into the depression and isolation after WW1 , After WW2 we emerged as the dominant power. DUH! back at you , history is tough reading. Try college level, oh yeah they are just lib stooges.

The WORLD went into a depression after WWI. What has that to do with the power of the U.S.? It is not related in the least, except that maybe because of the power of our economy we dragged the rest of the world into a depression with us.
You have not yet sourced your contention that the U.S. world power followed centralization.

No , I never said world power followed centralization, I said they seem to go together, since no world power did not have strong central gov. Read my words, I am not even making a value judgement. But how do the conservatives want both? It has never happened.

The U.S. was the new kid on the block and has shown that power can be had without highly centralized government. That was shown by how important we were to the outcome of WWI and WWII. That is the proof.

It is the new game in town.

Every thing changed after WW2 , WE grew the fed gov. after we emerged. Are they related,? that was the question. You say no , cool .

You hypothesis that power comes with centralized government is faulty.
Why stick with horse drawn wagons whenever the car has been invented? Sticking with the wagon was the backward thinking of the early 1900s. Sticking with highly centralized gov't is the same.

Everything did NOT change after WWII. We were already the world power before the World War One. We did not become the dominant power in the world only after WWII. That is nonsense.
