"We bought a kitchen sink faucet with a sprayer. Hardly anything came out of the sprayer. I called up the manufacturer and the woman there told me that that was normal and to not unscrew the head and take out the red plastic restricter because it was there to comply with Federal Regulations.
I did not not do that and now it works beautifully."

WTF???? Comply with Federal Regulations???? GIve me a F***ing break. There are times when yo usimply have to take matters into your own hands. Had to do the same thin with our faucet in the kitchen sink.
I like how the woman phrased that to you - told you what to do to cure the problem while telling you not to do it to cover the corporate behind. Well done.
Wonderful overregulation. My well - if I wanna be able to spray my water across the house, I should be able to do so.
