IMF Chief In Jail On Rape Charges

NPR was interviewing French feminists about this story and they were very happy to see a man of his power actually having to face up to his crimes. They think this wouldn't happen in France, where the code keeps the powerful out of trouble.

It seems the French might benefit from a slut walk message. Does being in power entitle you to inappropriate behavior? I think not. Ignoring such behavior only encourages it, the French case in point.

Looks like he might have picked the wrong maid! Talk about instant karma, there are rumours that the alleged rape victim has AIDS, and the French Socialist is being kept alone in the communicable diseases ward of the NYC jail.

Many of the French are unhappy because we showed him in handcuffs before he was found guilty, I guess they don't do that in France. Too friggin bad. Talk about going from the top to the very bottom in a hurry, if there is any justice in the world, he will get AIDS and die slowly in jail (if he did it).
