Why do the good die young?

This is a heart wrenching story unfolding in Arizona

This is from Arizona Daily Star reporter Fernanda Echavarri's effort to piece together the death of Jose Guerena, 26, at the hands of a Pima County, Arizona SWAT team. Guerena, who joined the Marines in 2002 and served two tours in Iraq, was killed just after 9 a.m. May 5. Guerera had just gone to bed after working a 12-hour shift at a local mine when his home was invaded as part of a multi-house crackdown by sheriff's deputies.

Here we have spent considerable time bitching about illegal immigrants with limited compassion. They survive while a young man who did all the right things gets caught up in what may well be a mistake. At least it smells that way whenever police need considerable time explaining why they acted like they did. I sure hope the truth comes to the fore and if the police made an error they do not try to manufacture something to justify their action.

Oh yeah, they are trying to come up with a good coverup.
More and more we are led to believe everyone is bad and LE is all good.

Another POS cop that saw a gun, got scared and fired, causing the other idiots to unload 71 rounds.

I can see more of these no knock home invasions become deadly for both sides.

Another casualty of the "War on Drugs" and adrenaline on the part of the cops.
