President Obama's War on Fun

C.S. Lewis once wrote that "of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive." Rulers who just want to exploit us may relax once their greed's sated.

But "those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience," Lewis said.

On the whole, I prefer House Speaker John Boehner's attitude. When Fox News' Chris Wallace asked the Ohio Republican, "Why don't you stop smoking?" Boehner replied, "It's a legal product. I choose to smoke. Leave me alone"

It was fox news that asked him? Not Obama? I am so confused.

Of course, I am easily confused as you know, Mr Neptune... Oh and tell Mrs Neptune I am still looking at getting our chickens. I have to go down the hill. I missed Chick day at the feed store.

That is OK, I live in a state of confusion in a region of bewilderment, surrounded by a fog of WTF. I will tell her but a pm or e-mail would be better.

EMPLOYEE NOTICE

**********************

Due to the current financial situation caused by the slowdown in the economy, Congress has decided to implement a scheme to put workers of 50 years of age and above on early, mandatory retirement, thus creating jobs and reducing unemployment.

This scheme will be known as RAPE (Retire Aged People Early).

Persons selected to be RAPED can apply to Congress to be considered for the SHAFT program (Special Help After Forced Termination).

Persons who have been RAPED and SHAFTED will be reviewed under theSCREW program (System Covering Retired-Early Workers).

A person may be RAPED once, SHAFTED twice and SCREWED as many times as Congress deems appropriate.

Persons who have been RAPED could get AIDS (Additional Income for Dependents & Spouse) or HERPES (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel Early Severance).

Obviously persons who have AIDS or HERPES will not be SHAFTED orSCREWED any further by Congress.

Persons who are not RAPED and are staying on will receive as much S***(Special High Intensity Training) as possible. Congress has always prided themselves on the amount of S*** they give our citizens.

Should you feel that you do not receive enough S***, please bring this to the attention of your Congressman, who has been trained to give you all theS*** you can handle.

Sincerely,
The Committee for Economic Value of Individual Lives (E.V.I.L.)

PS - Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil, as well as current market conditions, the Light at the End of the Tunnel has been turned off.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
